Computer Technician – Full Time – Whitley Bay

Full-Time – 30 hours per week over 5 days

We are seeking an Experienced Computer Technician, with exceptional skills, to join our team in providing technical support and assistance to our users. The successful candidate will be key to our retail operation, while maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems and notebooks.

Duties

– Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
– Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
– Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly
– Assist users with IT-related problems and provide guidance on proper computer usage
– Set up and manage user accounts and permissions
– Ensure network security measures are in place and functioning effectively

Experience

– Essential skills: Computer hardware, Customer service, Windows, LAN, Desktop support
– Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
– Relevant IT qualifications or certifications would be beneficial, particularly Level 3 Apprenticeship etc.

Pay: £18,000-£24,500 per year based on a 30 hour week.
